The Swept Away series is inspired by watching sage brush forming bundles of pieces of weeds of varying kinds and sizes as they swirl and travel across roads and the landscape during windy days. This process often reminds me of how thoughts and ideas constantly moving, whirling in my mind, then expressing themselves as I attempt to organize and make sense of them. The series, partially suspended from the ceiling and wall is separated into: Swept Away at Sea, Swept Away at Midnight and Swept Away at Sunset.
